Pastor J. Lawrence Steen
Senior Pastor
Rev. James L. Steen (Pastor Larry) has served as Pastor of the Westminster Baptist Church since March of 1983. Previous to this pastorate, he served as Pastor of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Huntingtown, Maryland from 1975-1983; and the Center Square Baptist Church of Center Square, Indiana from 1973-1975. Pastor Larry was a 1972 cum-laude graduate of Towson State College (now Towson University) and received his Master of Divinity degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in 1975.
Pastor Larry and his wife, Dianne, have two married sons, Jes and Kenn. Jes and his wife, Jenn have three daughters, Mary, Sarah and Rachel. Kenn and his wife, Michelle were recently married in July of 2009. In addition to Larry and Dianne's children and grand children, they have a sweet kitty named Miss Lily, a "grand dog" (Daisy) and two "grand cats" (Willis and Emmit.)

Pastor Chris Grella
Associate Pastor
Pastor Chris arrived in February 2008 to Westminster Baptist Church. Previous to this pastorate, he served as a radio producer and campus area director with Campus Crusade for Christ in Orlando, Florida and Allentown, Pennsylvania from 1994-2001 where he earned a Christian Leadership Certificate. Pastor Chris entered the pastorate as Outreach Pastor at Constance Evangelical Free Church in Andover, Minnesota from 2001-2002; and as Associate Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Cloquet, Minnesota from 2003-2008. Pastor Chris also is a 1993 graduate of Virginia Tech with a double major (B.A.'s) in Broadcast Communication and History and received his Master of Divinity degree in Ministry Leadership from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2008. Pastor Chris and his wife, Angie have two young sons, Nathan-8 and Joshua-5.

Pastor Greg Miller
Pastor of Contemporary Worship and Marriage
Gregory Miller is a graduate of Shippensburg University (B.A.) and Western Maryland College (M.S.) and has been active in the ministry at Westminster Baptist for most of his adult life. Greg serves as the Worship Leader at our Contemporary Worship Service and as our Marriage Pastor. With his wife Terri at his side, the Marriage Ministry at WBC exists to support, instruct through scripture, and promote the value of Godly relationships between husbands and wives. Greg's secular position is that of Chief Operating Officer of Penn-Mar Organization, a non-profit organization serving individuals with disabilities and human service needs. Pastor Greg and Terri have four children, Corrie (20), Luke (17) Nathan (6) and Sarah (5)

Pastor Vernon Hallis
Minister of Youth
Pastor Vernon Hallis graduated from Elon College in North Carolina and received his Masters degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland. He has been a Pastor for 10 years and a school teacher for 26 years. Pastor Vernon has been married for 25 years and has 3 kids: Jessica-22, Katelyn-18 and Nicholas-17.

Lynn Johnson
Worship Leader & Sanctuary Choir Director
Lynn Johnson has served WBC as Worship Leader and Sanctuary Choir Director since the Spring of 2007, and has been a member of the church since 1997. Previously, she served as Worship Leader and Choir Director at Valley Baptist Church where she was responsible for the Adult Choir, College Chorale and the Youth Choir. She was also Choir Director and Song Leader at Reisterstown Baptist Church.
Lynn is responsible for the weekly congregational and choral music, as well as seasonal choral presentations of Easter and Christmas Cantatas. She is committed to bringing choral music of the highest quality to our worship services. Lynn particularly feels led to seek those out those who have musical talents and give them an opportunity to participate in the worship services, whether the person sings or plays an instrument. That way, they can be a part of worship leadership from time to time and perhaps in the future, be open to a call to church music service.
Apart from her church responsibilities, Lynn is a Sales and Marketing Professional.

Dru Pack
Secretary
Dru began serving at Westminster Baptist Church in November 2006. She and her husband, Rick reside in Manchester, MD. They have two sons, Ben & Seth – both of whom are married and live elsewhere. Dru is a member of Hampstead Baptist Church and serves in various areas of ministry including AWANA. Her mission goal is to serve Christ.
